The Power of the Dog
Have you experienced my sidekick Buddha Bear? He is a real Zen Master.
Our dynamic in working with you in the wellness space aims to bring a unique, calming + playful energy as you adventure within.
My zenful sidekick, Buddha Bear, and I met at puppy yoga in 2018 when I was hosting dog yoga events in collaboration with local animal shelters. I started hosting these events as a way to bring light-hearted experiences to encourage movement and community. Experiences curated to help people move & connect with the hope they find a furry friend a new home.
I had lost my 11 year dog unexpectedly in 2017 and resisted the idea of getting another. In hindsight to my story, the passing of that dog was a catalyst to the unraveling of 'the self' as I crumbled into a dark place. But the journey of losing oneself is when one ends up finding the truest self.
After a few weeks of fostering Buddha, I realized he was a gift put on my path as he helped guide me out. He found his forever home + has become a healing companion not just for me, but for anyone else that meets him.
I had developed ongoing dog yoga events working with a Dallas-based local animal shelter that would bring dogs up for adoption. These events were not just for the humans, but also for the pups. Most dogs up for adoption need some socialization and free time to roam. So it seemed like a win-win for everyone. And let's be real, sometimes rainbows and puppies do heal all.
